Apple trees are beautiful! I love the way their structure opens to the outside.

In creating this work I used a special method whereby the plates were etched several times -- creating lines and forms of varied intensity and texture.   Close inspection of the work reveals the different states which gives an appearance of multiple layers.

The above triptych, Artist Proof I, is SOLD. However, Marina is creating additional pulls of this edition. Please contact us for an estimation as to when new pulls will become available. You can also request a customized pull with your own colors and/or chine colle background.
FORMAT OPTIONS.

This artwork can be framed as a triptych (measuring 60" or more in width) or in individual frames. Therefore we can provided it in either of the following:

DECKLED EDGES As displayed above, the edges of each panel would be torn back leaving approximately a 1/2" white edge. Your framer would then be able to apply an undersized backer board to each panel to give the appearance that the paper is floating.
MATTED: Each of the panels would be matted within a 27" x 32" antique white mat. This way your framer could frame the artwork in three separate frames. NOTE: With this method, your framer would still be able to deckle the edges because the individual panels would have adequate white border.

In either case, we send this artwork flat, in 3 parts. Please contact us if you wish additional formatting such as applied backer boards, attachment to a main panel, etc. We can also provide it framed. These methods normally cause oversized shipping charges.
